Orochimaru
Orochimaru is truly indispensable in the list of the strongest enemies Naruto Uzumaki has ever faced. Fyi, Orochimaru is one of the three legendary sannin of Konoha along with Master Jiraiya and the Fifth Hokage Tsunade.
The reason why Orochimaru deserves to be called the strongest enemy Naruto has ever faced, is because he not only has many forbidden techniques. Orochimaru also has a ninjutsu that is no joke, and his mind is also unpredictable.
Orochimaru is a very cunning opponent and Naruto faced Orochimaru from when he was a Chunin until the Fourth Shinobi World War. Thanks to his intelligence and cunning, Orochimaru was always able to escape and survive.
Yakushi Kabuto
This character is actually not too different from Orochimaru, because Kabuto Yakushi is actually Orochimaru’s loyal subordinate. However, after Orochimaru was defeated by Sasuke, Kabuto also began his own invasion.

Uchiha Obito
Entering the Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto had to fight for a long time against Uchiha Obito.
Similar to Kabuto Uzumaki, Obito Uchiha’s life story is also not easy and very sad. He was a student of Naruto’s father and a groupmate of Kakashi-sensei, who is known to have died since he was a child.

Uchiha Madara

Otsutsuki Kaguya

Toneri
After rising from the Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto must face another enemy. Experiencing a romance with Hinata, Naruto is confronted by Hamura’s descendant, Toneri.
This man spent time living on the Moon and wanted Hinata to marry him to fulfill a prophecy. However, when Toneri first attempted to kidnap Hinata, his actions were stopped by Naruto.
Finding another way, Toneri chose to kidnap Hanabi so that Hinata could become his wife. Fortunately, before the wedding took place, Naruto was able to enter Toneri’s palace. A fierce battle between Naruto and Toneri took place on the Moon and worried the inhabitants of the earth.
Otsutsuki Momoshiki
Despite becoming the Seventh Hokage, Naruto still faced strong enemies. Meeting the Otsutsuki Clan again, this time Naruto must fight against the ferocity of Otsutsuki Momoshiki. Naruto and Momoshiki’s battle is featured in the film and anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Otsutsuki Momoshiki along with bodyguard Kinshiki came to earth only to get Kyubi’s chakra inside Naruto’s body. They plan to harvest the Chakra Tree and eat the fruit to gain eternal power. Fortunately, Naruto was assisted by Sasuke and the Kage, who took the Chūnin Exams.
Delta
Still in Boruto’s time, Naruto was overwhelmed by the presence of the extremely mysterious Kara Organization. The organization remains in contact with Otsutsuki and aims to awaken the Chakra Tree.
Delta itself is a member of a very important organization. He wanders around in search of the child who is Jigen’s soul vessel.
Delta and Naruto’s meeting leads to a huge and very exhausting battle. Delta herself is a human that has been modified with various ninja weapons made by Amado.
Many attempts were made by Naruto, but the Seventh Hokage was never able to kill Delta. The only one who can kill Delta is Amado with a command line.
Otsutsuki Isshiki
Naruto’s strongest enemy the hardest to face is Otsutsuki Isshiki. Possessing much greater strength than Otsutsuki Kaguya, it’s no wonder Isshiki is Naruto’s most formidable opponent.
Although he has not fully awakened and is still living in Jigen’s body, his strength is still not to be underestimated. Isshiki is proficient in eyebending, sealing, Daikokuten, and Infinite Chakra.
In Jigen’s body, Isshiki was able to defeat Naruto and Sasuke’s cooperation. In order to defeat Isshiki, Naruto was forced to use “Baryon Mode” endangering his and Kurama’s lives.
But thanks to this mode, Naruto was also able to shorten Isshiki’s life time in Jigen’s body. Aided by Kawaki and Boruto, they succeeded in removing Isshiki who was in Jigen’s body.
Against the many Otsutsuki clans, Naruto and Kurama’s fighting prowess cannot be underestimated. Naruto is not an invincible ninja, though.
Admittedly, the victory that he achieved did not come from his own strength alone. But Naruto is always helped by Sasuke and the best ninjas of Konoha.
