Capture the joy, sadness and longing of the word Soulmate

This film carefully captures the joy, sadness, nostalgia and longing of the word soul mate. Friendship, first love and life’s ups and downs that everyone must have experienced are subtly blended into the plot of the story. Their friendship changes when Ha Eun falls in love for the first time. With the arrival of Jin-Woo, they become three together, not two, and Ha Eun enjoys her youth with her best friend and the man she likes by her side.

Jin-Woo is also attracted to the free-spirited Mi So and Mi So realizes this, he decides to leave Jeju Island and go to Seoul. In the end, Mi So returns to Jeju at the most difficult and darkest time of her life in Seoul, which she cannot bear alone.

At the same time, Ha Eun is burdened by the expectations of her parents and boyfriend Jin Woo, and she herself is so confused that she doesn’t know who she is anymore. Later, the two shared their emotions, sadness and pain and reopened the meaning of their former friendship that had been buried and gradually they realized that they were each other’s true ‘best friends’.

Impressive acting by Kim Dami and Jeon So Nee

The acting of Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee is very impressive, it can be seen that the transformation of age is gracefully and naturally expressed by Kim Da Mi from a girl with a free and easy life to a woman determined to survive in Seoul. Kim Da Mi was able to give an impressive performance when expressing her despair as a woman who lost her love and future.

Soulmate Movie

Likewise, Jeon So Nee’s character is someone who always lives a life unchanged in place and is unable to express her true feelings. Jeon So Nee wonderfully expressed her feelings of first love, jealousy, and longing for Mi So.

Conclusion of the movie Soulmate

Soulmate is a delicate depiction of two girls who have known each other since childhood and, after living apart as adults, meet again to express the importance of soulmates to each other.
